Other than that the item is in near mint condition. · 196 series dial indicator measures 0 to 0.2 with 0.001 graduations for precise measurement of · 0 to 100 counter with one revolution equivalent to 0.1 · Plunger-type dial back with three contact point sizes, 1/2, 5/16, and 1/8 diameter · White-face dial with scratch-resistant crystal face for ease of reading · 1/4 diameter stainless-steel shank for mounting The Starrett 196 series universal dial indicator has a 0 to 0.2 measuring range with 0.001 graduations for precise measurement of the rise or drop in a work piece. It has a 0 to 100 counter with one revolution equivalent to 0.1, and the white-face dial has a scratch-resistant crystal face for ease of reading. The plunger on the back of the dial comes with 1/2, 5/16, and 1/8 diameter contact points. The dial indicator has a 1/4 diameter stainless-steel shank for mounting. Some dial indicator sets include an adapter, a standard letter of certification, and clamp, tool post holder, snug, and hole attachments.
