*** TWO THINGS *** 1) The gage says "22-C" but that is for the Sliding Head AND THE 6" RULE.That rule IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION.The Sliding Head ONLY is # 22-D. 2) Those ugly brown lines are NOT ON THE GAGE. They're in my camera & I can't seem to eliminate them. FREE SHIPPING FREE SHIPPING When you reshapen your drill bits by hand this is the handiest gage to use. Simply place your bit along your scale (little 6" ruler) and get BOTH LIPS TO BE THE SOME ANGLE AND LENGTH. PIECE OF CAKE. Now for a reality check. It's really hard to do especially for a neophyte. But this gage will show you which lip needs to be dressed to match the other one. You'll soon get the hang of it. Trust me. After 6 months you'll be sharpening your own bits by eye & won't even need this gage! Sell the gage and move on. Maybe make a buck or two on the deal! You'll need a 3/4" X 3/64" rule to mount it on. Everybody makes one. Now if you DON'T have it the one shown in the photos is for sale in another auction. Lucky you! Did I mention that it's FREE SHIPPING? Can't recall.
