START International TDA080 Electronic Heavy Duty Tape Dispenser Item Description The START International TDA080 electronic heavy-duty tape dispenser with digital push switch display automatically cuts and advances predefined lengths of a wide variety of tapes, including duct tape and some non-adhesive materials. The dispenser is suitable for high production taping in industrial applications, including paint masking, motor manufacturing, cutting protective coverings, and dispensing tensilized polypropylene. The dispenser accepts tape rolls in widths from 0.25 to 3.15" (6 to 80 mm) with an outside roll diameter up to 9"/251 mm, and has a 3"/76 mm roll core holder. Using push buttons, cut lengths of 1.6 to 394" (40 to 9999 mm) can be set. The digital push switch display allows easy length adjustments. Feed and cut can be set to automatically advance and cut the tape as soon as a cut piece is removed, or to wait for an interval of up to 25 seconds. Both the feed and the cut can also be operated manually with a push button. The guillotined cut provides a straight edge to the dispensed tape. Cut length tolerance is + or – 0.04"/1 mm, depending on the material being cut. The safety interlock protects the operator from the cutting mechanism by preventing the cutter from activating when objects such as fingers or tools are present. The steel gears, metal advancement rollers, and heavy-duty metal housing provide durability. The TDA080 tape dispenser operates on 115 VDC at 50/60 Hz.
