This is a heavy duty steel schedule 40 1" static mixer. This mixer has 8 removable polyplas elements and measures 12" long with male 1" pipe thread ends. The geometry of this mixer consists of a series of left and right hand helicals. The elements leading and trailing edges are knife edged. The elements effectively convert the tube into a maze or labyrinth. When fluids are pumped through the mixer they are progressively divided and recombined the result is efficient inline mixing This static mixer has a flat black finish and galvanized inner wall, works well with biodiesel systems , well water treatment, high viscosity adhesives and pastes and is cleanable with replaceable elements . If you are looking for a durable steel mixer and don't need stainless steel this is an excellent choice. If purchasing multiple items, please request total for combined shipping.
