The stool is made of steel for strength with a powder-coated finish for durability and rust resistance. Both the top and bottom steps have rubber surfaces to help prevent slips, and a rubber ring around the stool's base grips hard floor surfaces to further increase stability. The stool rolls on spring-loaded casters for relocation ease. Its top step stands 17-1/8" high while the bottom step is 8-7/8" high, and it measures 11-3/4" in diameter at the top and 17-7/8" in diameter at the base. The stool can be assembled without tools, and it meets or exceeds U.S. General Service Administration (GSA) standards for professional or industrial use.
