This 3D printed extractor allows using two mason jars to separate honey from the honeycomb in one easy step. Eliminating duct tape and repositioning of the two jar stack during filtration/straining to allow air to pass between the upper and lower jars as demonstrated in many YouTube videos. If you are unfamiliar with the mason jar technique the following YouTube videos explains the process using the Stig O'DIY design: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kERZEo0OL8E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vAeWANj0DQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsUG7P2LHsQ Included in you purchase are: -one extractor for small mouth mason jar -24" length of 1/4" OD food grade clear PVC tubing which can be cut to length, suitable for the mason jar sizes you have This part is printed from ABS plastic which is food safe. The 3D printed part will have surface imperfections due to the FDM printing process. So cleaning and sanitation of the extractor after use must be carefully done and fully dried before storage or use. Fortunately honey naturally has anti bacterial and anti fungal properties that mitigates some of the risk. However, I cannot be held liable if it isn't completely cleaned and someone is harmed by tainted honey. The extractor can be washed in a dishwasher, but cannot be placed on the bottom rack near the heating element. Another alternative is to order this design thru Shapeways, as the design will be printed using a different process the results in a internal void free extractor made from a nylon plastic.  There will still be some surface roughness that still requires some diligence when cleaning, unless a polished version is selected.
