This is a really cool Vacuum Workholding / Positioning System for woodworking, carving, metal working, electronics work, factory automation, etc. The system consists of a PIAB F110 4-1/2" silicone vacuum cup mounted to a 3/8" x 3" pipe nipple, mounted to a Stilson 6625 compressed air vacuum generator. This system operates under the venturi principle of vacuum. Basically the Stilson vacuum generator creates tremendous vacuum force from a small amount of compressed air.  This 4-1/2" vacuum cup will grab ahold of your work and won't let go until the compressed air supply is shut off or you apply air to the vacuum release.  You will be amazed how much force this device has to hold your workpiece!!! There is also a port on the Stilson generator for a vacuum gauge (gauge not included). The unit is 4-1/2" x 6-3/4" x 6" tall and weigh 1-1/2 lbs. Simply clamp or bolt the vacuum generator to your bench or device and provide a supply of 90 PSI compressed air through a 1/4" tube and you are ready to go to work.  There are a couple of tiny nicks on one edge of the vacuum cup that do not affect the performance of the system.
