Up for sale is our Mesa Summit DTG machine. We just don't use this machine much in our day to day business as we are a screen printing company. If you are looking at this auction you probably know what this printer can do. We do get an error message(0010035). Mesa tells us that the capping station should be replaced which they have for $350. Easy online instructions for replacement. This is for LOCAL PICKUP! We will not ship it. Everything pictured with it comes with it in addition to the support CD. Ask questions BEFORE you bid! This is sold AS-IS, no expressed or implied warranties! Digital DTG printers are one of the most distinct ranges of inkjet flat bed printers available today. These direct inkjet printers are capable of printing on many different materials, even materials with light and / or uneven surfaces. Using our specialized DUPONT Artistri™ Textile Inks, you can print directly to cotton or cotton blend fabrics, such as those used in T-Shirts. There is a short pre-treatment process required for printing with white ink (such as to dark fabrics), and the only post-treatment is that of heat drying to cure the inks. The SummitDTG™ is a ground up built revolutionary printer which incorporates a new White Ink Management System for reliable white ink prints, a cartridge CMYK ink system for consistent ink delivery, and a conveyor platen drive system. It also delivers a extra large print area of 16 inches wide by 20 inches long. 1.1 The SummitDTG™ The SummitDTG™ is a textile printing unit based on an Epson Stylus Pro 4880 inkjet printer. It uses standard inkjet technology with DUPONT Artistri™ Textile Inks to print on any type of cotton or cotton blend (minimum 50% cotton) garment or fabric material. Prior to the development of DUPONT Artistri™ textile inks for inkjet printers, printing on fabric with an inkjet printer used to be quite difficult - standard inkjet inks that are used to print on paper do not stand up to regular washing when printed onto most fabrics. DTG TEX Textile inks have been specifically designed to print on fabrics and garments with only a post treatment of heat needed to set the ink. DTG Tex White Ink has been specifically designed for printing to dark fabrics & garments, and additionally requires a pre-treatment be sprayed to the fabric / garments. By using DUPONT Artistri™ Inks, the SummitDTG™ will successfully print on light colored 100% cotton, 50% cotton/50% polyester blends, 100% polyester and many other natural and synthetic materials. Depending on the image you are printing, 100% cotton will produce the brightest prints, as the colors on 100% polyester and polyester and cotton blends may appear slightly dull. 100% polyester requires a specifically formulated pre-treatment that is available from your dealer or distributor. For darker colored garments requiring a white ink under base, your SummitDTG™ will produce excellent results on 100% cotton and 50% polyester 50% cotton blends. There are many applications for SummitDTG™ printing. Besides T-Shirts, it can print on ladies tops, men’s polo shirts, tote bags, aprons, towels, mouse pads, bibs, etc. ***Some products will require a custom made platen and a pre-treatment with undercoats as well as the application of top coats to protect the print. 5
