I needed the sensor only to replace a defective one. Thought the base might be worth something to an installer. Payment Everybody likes (expects) sellers to be quick when it comes to handling & shipping and I pride myself in being right on it. I time my auctions to end when I know I will be available to do the handling pronto. If a mistake was made in bidding (I’ve had to beg a seller’s mercy more than once myself) please let me know immediately and we’ll work out something fair. If I’ve asked you to contact me to confirm a S&H amount (multiple items), please do so asap. If everything is good, help me get this in the mail as quickly as possible by making payment promptly and certainly no later than 48 hours of after the end of the auction. If you make payment after 2 & before 4 days, I may not be able to ship as quickly as I had planned; and if without any explanation, I may make note of slow payment in your buyer feedback. If payment is not made within 4 days, my ebay account is automatically set-up to open an unpaid item case. Shipping, Handling & Insuranc* There is no “Free” shipping and handling. I like to sell an item for its actual value and then charge the lowest reasonable amount for S&H. Remember, all the costs associated with buying on ebay and the convenience of paying through paypal are born by the seller, about 15% of the auction price. Handling costs include these fees and a little for packaging. Shipping has become very expensive. I work hard to find the lowest shipping price possible based on the weight and shape of the item and then add about $1.00 for handling for each item. USPS Priority come with $50 insuranc* automatically I have priced any additional insuranc* coverage based on anticipated final sales price into the S&H for USPS shipments. Insuranc* is included in the FedEx ground price. For the purpose of a claim, coverage is based on the final auction price. Ebay requires the seller to be responsible for the condition of the item once it is in the shipper’s hands. I pack very well & take pictures before mailing to document the condition of the item before it goes to the shipper. Any damage done in transit will be covered solely by insuranc*. You will need to help me make the case to the shipper so I can file the claim. Claims for damage in transit must be made through the carriers insuranc* process. BTW, I replaced the “e” with an asterisk because ebay makes me click through a warning screen regarding their insurance policies just for using the word in my listing. I tried to represent their policy fairly here. If you believe my terms are not in keeping, do not hesitate to let me know, in a constructive message, your thoughts. Return Policy If the item you receive is not satisfactory for any reason, we will arrange a return. Please contact me with an explanation of why within fourteen (14) days of receipt. Returns will be accepted on a “100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" basis, but I would like to understand the problem for future reference. Final bid price will be refunded through PayPal on return of ALL listed items, each in condition as pictured in listing, shipped in original or similar packing materials. Everyone makes mistakes, but I believe no one using eBay should pay for a seller’s mistake. In the event of an incomplete order or some other issue that can be remedied by my sending an additional item(s), I will do so at my own cost. In the event the item you receive is materially different than what is described in the listing (other than because of damage in transit), I am willing to consider making a partial to full refund of the final bid amount & cost of shipping both ways. This will require meaningful communication on the part of the buyer showing substantive proof that the item received is materially different than what was listed. Any decision to refund shipping will be made at my sole discretion. Such a refund will be done through PayPal after sufficient evidence is communicated by the buyer & all items that were shipped are returned to me.
