Taig lathe quick change tool holder, new design. Made from 7075 Aircraft aluminum that has similar strengths to mild steel, but will not corrode, please note some markings will show on use. Item has some light tool marks, but has been light sanded and file to remove sharp edges. Includes tool post and 2 holders along with t nut and attaching bolt. Tool is not included, that is just for picture. Supports up to 3/8" tools but is optimum with 1/4" which is standard for this small lathe. Uses a piston type security to hold tool holders, just turn the knurled knob until secure. Please note in the picture I am using a raised compound slide, but this will work on both the standard cross slide, and the Taig compound. All hardware used in this tool post solution is similar to what you already use with the Taig lathe, 10-32 set screws and anchor bolt. Will allow for other makers tool holders to be used on this tool post in case you need other types of holders or I can produce them as you need.
