With the use of Tanner Systems No-Tox2 with a Tanner Systems T4 dispensing unit the problem of freezing moisture has been solved. You now will have no lost production time and added expense. How it works: The Tanner Systems T4 De-Icer is a device designed to deliver No-Tox2 Airline Antifreeze into compressed air systems and air operated tools to prevent freezing of moisture. As the compressed air passes through the T4 De-icer, a small amount of air is directed into the bowl, creating a slight pressure differential. Via a venturie effect, No-Tox2 is drawn up through the siphon tube to the chamber above the drip gland. Here the flow of the NoTox2 is controlled by the adjusting needle and permitted to drip at the desired rate of feed from the drip gland through the site feed chamber and into the air line. As No-Tox2 enters the air stream it atomizes and bonds to the moisture molecules, significantly lowering the freeze point of the moisture. No-Tox2 De-icant protects your compressed air equipment with special additives including, a corrosion preventer, rust inhibitor, special lubricant that helps prevent rubber and synthetic parts from drying, and a unique bonding agent that adheres to moisture and keeps it from freezing. FILLING / SERVICING: Shut Off the Air Supply to the unit prior to filling! Slowly open the Fill Plug (next to the sight dome / flow adjustment knob on the top of the unit). Allow the air pressure to slowly escape the bowl. Carefully add ONLY Tanner Systems No-Tox2 through the fill plug hole. DO NOT OVERFILL. The bowl capacity is 4 ounces. No-Tox2 is NOT a flammable liquid; however, we give the following instruction to be safe. DO NOT SMOKE WHILE REFILLING. STAY CLEAR OF IGNITION SOURCES AND EXTREMELY HIGH TEMPERATURES WHILE HANDLING No-Tox2. SET-UP: With No-Tox2 in the bowl and the dispensing unit under working pressure, open the airline down stream and leave open. Turn the adjusting knob (on the top of the unit) clockwise until there are no drips of fluid coming out of the drip tube inside of the sight dome. Turn counter-clockwise until the drip rate is approximately once every 3-4 seconds. This will allow an adequate amount of de-icing fluid to treat the compressed air, preventing it from freezing. Once in operation, you may increase or decrease the flow to fit your specific needs.
