Products made by tekmar can improve the efficiency and comfort delivered by almost any system. The tekmar 274 Boiler Control controls a single water temperature. It is equipped to operate a system pump and as many as four boilers in order to satisfy heating demands in a hydronic system. Two boilers may be replaced by pumps if it suits your system. This unit also provides setpoint control, and DHW control is available if setpoint control and the relay for a second system pump are not in use. Whether you are using it in a stand-alone capacity or as a part of a tekmarNet network, the 274 Boiler Control possesses several energy saving features, including outdoor temperature reset, to make you system more economical. Product Features: Synchronize Your Zones, Save Energy The 274 Boiler Control allows your tekmarNet 4 thermostats to communicate with each other. Communication means that your thermostats can synchronize their cycles, when possible, instead of operating independently. This minimizes short cycling, saves energy, and reduces wear and tear on your system. Intelligent Control By monitoring system and outdoor temperatures, the tekmar 274 is able to make intelligent decisions about system operation. This includes adjusting supply temperatures based on outdoor conditions and providing boiler protection by monitoring and maintaining a minimum return water temperature. With the wide variety of operating modes and equipment it supports, the tekmar 274 is sure to make your system operate more efficiently, without sacrificing comfort. Setback Period The tekmar 274 allows you to designate a setback period when your home or business is unoccupied, reducing the water temperature to limit energy waste. Warm Weather Shutdown A warm weather shut down temperature may be programmed to prevent your system from running when it in unnecessary or untenable. Automates Boiler Differential This control can automatically adjust your boiler differential to discourage short cycling. Boiler Rotation When you are using the tekmar 274 Boiler Control with two boilers, it will take each boiler's cumulative run time into account when deciding which boiler will fire first. This prevents one of your boilers from being overused.
