This is a Tek 2465B with GPIB & Frequency Counter Options installed. (Also called a 2465BCT if it has connector for P6407 logic probe installed on back). 2465B is a well designed 4channel 400MHz bandwidth portable package, made from mid-1988 to mid-1996 that would be useful for decades to come. Costs only a tiny fraction of its $11,000 new price (with these 2 options), yet years from now well maintained 2465Bs (last scopes Tek made to be repairable), will still be faithfully serving their owners as the pile of unrepairable junked DSOs grows ever bigger. DSOs have tried to emulate the features of high performing analog scopes since day-1, and in some respects are still trying. Arguably the only advantage DSOs have is in recording, while still suffering disadvantages in waveform fidelity. If uploading waveforms to your computer is not is not what you plan on doing with a scope, then get my 2465B. Will be shipped READY TO USE: freshly calibrated, with instructions book on CD, power cord, and 90 days GUARANTY(my parts & labor, your shipping), but only if you pay BIN price - lesser offers on ebay may delete options, cal, and guaranty. Since the listing is for multiple quantity (with more possible options you may select below), the photos may not be of the specimen you'll get, but rest assured any 2465B I send out will be in equally excellent cosmetic & electrical shape. First photo shows leading edge of a 0.9965847 MHz square wave whose risetime (and that of the scope) reads about 1.06nS, consistent with the capability of a 400MHz scope (if generator's risetime was infinitely short, it would read 0.88nS, but my generaor isn't that fast). This is a far more stringent test than others showing a scope can display trace zero signal lines or 1KHz signals. 2nd photo shows response of scope to "autoscale+measure frequency" of a 1KHz signal from a time mark generator. 3rd photo shows the optional front cover and top pouch you can add (see below available extras). 4th photo shows optional pair of P6137 probes you can add from list of available extras (read below). 5th photo shows left side of scope with 2 P6063B switchable probes you can add. 6th photo shows optional 19" rackmount cradle. I choose to work on 2400s because they were the last repairable scopes Tek made (newer TDSs are unrepairable, not something to brag about). 2400s are my specialty, so mine shall arrive working correctly, whether you're buying just 1 or several to outfit an entire lab or classroom. Please keep in mind if buying another's 2465B, that chances are, regardless of price, almost certain theirs may have problems. I sell them because I fix them, others sell them because they need fixing. It simply isn't reasonable to expect a scope will have lasted 20 years without accumulating some issues that a seller may or may not be aware of. One common problem after 20+ years is that the Li battery/NVRAM is overdue for replacing, but hasn't been, unless you're buying from me. I urge clients to contact me before bidding so I can suggest matching accessories and/or options to best suit your needs. Pricing on ebay includes a "hidden tax" of 14% (10-11% in sales commission to ebay; and 3-4% on money transfers via paypal, something a domestic ck or MO does losslessly, eg: if you were to write $1200 on a ck -I'd get $1200, which I'd accept). Alas, Paypal's 3% does buy you speed and consumer protection, and ebay's 10% buys you the right to grade me via feedback. Be generous if you can.
