Quantity one, Tektronix (Tek) DAS9200 92C96/TLA510/TLA520 Memory Depth Upgrade to 128k/Channel. Unused - new old stock. The DAS9200 Digital Analysis System 92C96 Series of acquisition modules (NOT the 92A96 Series) were designed with 512kbits/channel of trace memory. Depending on which version of the module purchased only portions of the memory was enabled. The TLA510 and TLA520 Logic Analyzers were designed with 2Mbits/channel of trace memory and depending on which option purchased only portions of the memory were enabled. Any of these instruments could have the memory depth upgraded (i.e. more of the resident memory enabled) by changing an ID ROM. This upgrading scheme was called PowerFlex. DAS9200 Logic Analyzer modules: 92C96 8k/channel (LAF02 mod kit for 128k/ch) 92C96D 32k/channel (LAF04 mod kit for 128k/ch) TLA510 and TLA520 Logic Analyzers:No Option = 8k/channel (LAF02 mod kit for 128k/ch) Option 01 = 32k/channel (LAF04 mod kit for 128k/ch) The item being auctioned is a PowerFlex ID ROM to enable 128kbits/channel and the modification kit instructions for installing the ROM. The ROM is the one you would have received if you had bought the Tektronix LAF02, or LAF04 memory upgrade kits. Please note that the TLA520 has two 100-channel acquisition modules and to upgrade the memory for both will require two of the PowerFlex ID ROMs. Check out my other items!
