This auction is for a vintage Telechrome 1004-B Video Transmission Test Signal Receiver Parts/Repair Only. This came in from a retired engineer that worked at one of our local television stations. He had some really neat old items such as radios, antennas, test equipment, old/new electronic parts, etc. I am not really very technically advanced on an item like this, but it looks to be in fairly decent shape. Has serial number 337, which seems pretty low. Says it is a TeleChrome Video Transmission Test Signal Receiver. There are a bunch of items on the front panel, such as cable inputs/outputs, some toggle switches a few knobs, a fuse holder, videl balance adjustment, push button, etc. In the little pit area there are about 7 tubes, 6 inductors? (designated L), and a couple of larger silver cans, which might be capacitors. It had a tore up leather handle that was falling apart, so I just pulled it off and it still has the metal, which is somewhat rusty. Looks like it had a lid on it because it has the lid clamps on the side, but that is not with this unit. Did not come with a power cord, so couldn't even try to power up. One rubber foot on bottom deteriorated off. Cool old unit. Thanks for your time. Will run auction for 7 days and if it doesn't sell, will increase price and send to storefront.
