FREE - 8 Boxes of Probe Covers (25 covers per box), Retail Cost $9.95 per box  The DataTherm is a compact temperature monitor that incorporates intuitive programming and can operate on either the Fahrenheit or Celsius scales. It has been reviewed and accepted the the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.  The DataTherm performs the following three important clinical functions: 1. Continuous temperature monitoring. 2. Temperature storage at timed intervals. 3. High & low temperature alarms. First, the patient's temperature is continuously measured every 4 seconds. Any variation of 1/10th of a degree (F) is recognized and displayed on the LCD. Second, the used can select from 8 various timed intervals (from 15 minutes to 24 hours) at which time the patient's temperature will be stored in memory. The DataTherm can store up to 70 sequential temperature readings. Third, the user can program upper and low temperature limits for purposes of patient safety. When either temperature threshold is exceeded, the DataTherm emits an audible alarm. The DataTherm Kit includes: 1. 1 Data Therm Continuous Temperature Monitor. 2. 1 "Instructions For Use" booklet. 3. 1 Roll of Hypo-allergenic surgical paper tape. 4. 5 Velcro loop strips with adhesive backing. 5. 1 box (25 ct.) datatherm probe covers. 6. 1 extra CL 2032 battery. 7. 6 Hydrogel probe tip attachments pads. 8. 12 mylar probe tip attachment disks.
