TEN ELECTRICAL INSULATOR INSULATING MICA 4" x 1" SHEETS, STRIPS, SIL PADS       This listing is for Ten   4" x 1" inch mica insulator sheets. Mica is a silicate mineral that is mined from the earth. Mica can be processed into very thin sheets because of it's chemical structure, but is very expensive to mine and process. Manufactors often use SIL pads as they are cheap! Mica insulators will provide better performance than SIL pads. These mica strips provide electrical insulation while providing the BEST thermal conductivity that is available. The thickness of our mica sheets are between:  0.004 / 0.006" , so these are thick enough to split or cleave into several more sheets!   As we grade our mica for stoves, the sheets with blemishes are selected for electrical applications and we sell these at a greatly reduced price. All of these sheets have some graining, markings or blemishes etc.   Mica is flexible and can be cut easily  with scissors, to any size and shape quickly.   We also have all other sizes available from stock ,  email me for your requirements and I shall list it for you.
