This listing is for a used, and fully tested, National Instruments NI cDAQ-9172 8-slot chassis for USB. Also included, installed in chassis are two modules: 1. NI 9421 8-bit 24V sinking digital input module, and 2. NI 9472 8-bit 24V sourcing digital output module. A power supply with US 120VAC power cord, and USB cable are also included as shown. The two modules screw terminal connectors are part of NI 9932 backshell kits, and the backshell parts are included for each, allowing custom wiring/cabling as may be required in your application. Note that these modules when installed in slots 5 and 6 of this chassis provide access to the counter/timer functions of the chassis via the digital IO of modules- NI website has manuals and specifications for the chassis and modules. NI cDAQ-9172 Overview; Assy # 191575E-01; Serial # 136142C; Overview- The cDAQ-9172 is an eight-slot NI CompactDAQ chassis that can hold up to eight C Series I/O modules. This USB 2.0-compliant chassis operates on 11 to 30 VDC and includes an AC/DC power converter and a 1.8 m USB cable. See NI CompactDAQ Accessories for mounting options, such as DIN-rail, panel mount, and enclosures. The cDAQ-9172 has two 32-bit counter/timer chips built into the chassis. With a correlated digital I/O module installed in slot 5 or 6 of the chassis, you can access all the functionality of the counter/timer chip including event counting, pulse-wave generation or measurement, and quadrature encoders. Each channel is compatible with 12 to 24 V signals and features transient overvoltage protection of 2,300 Vrms between the input channels and earth ground. Each channel also has an LED that indicates the state of that channel. The NI cRIO-9421 works with industrial logic levels and signals for direct connection to a wide array of industrial switches, transducers, and devices. Each channel also has an LED that indicates the state of that channel. With the NI 9472, you can connect directly to a variety of industrial devices such as motors, actuators, and relays. All items are tested, including the integral timer/counters within the cDAQ-9172, accessible by each of the modules (when installed in slots 5 and 6). Also included is power supply with threaded fastener to attach securely to the cDAQ chassis, US 120VAC power cord, and NI 2-meter USB cable. All items are same as shown. Used items (chassis, modules and power supply) have cosmetic wear and scuffing that will not affect function or performance. All items have been tested together and work properly.”
