Tex Lab Supply offers 1 Liter POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL - 400 USP GRADE - Sterile, perfect for a wide range of applications, from cosmetics to pharmaceuticals. CARBOWAXв„ў SENTRYв„ў Polyethylene Glycols are available in molecular weights ranging from 300 to 8000, meeting all applicable standards for drug applications and certain food and personal care products. The primary hydroxyl functionality of CARBOWAXв„ў SENTRYв„ў PEGs allows for typical alcohol reactions, resulting in high purity monoesters and fatty acid esters. PEGs also react well with numerous other compounds, including isocyanates, leading to the formation of polyurethane polymers. In addition to their use in pharmaceuticals, CARBOWAXв„ў SENTRYв„ў Polyethylene Glycols are produced to meet food additive clearances and Kosher and Pareve certifications, making them perfect for food processing and packaging. Their versatility and unique combination of properties make them perfect for use in a wide range of cosmetic and personal care preparations, including creams, lotions, gels and aerosols.
