Custom Truck Interior/Exterior Construction: Original interior stripped to the aluminum shell then cleaned and framed with metal studs, wired with BX to the panel box with individual breakers, walls were then covered with 5/8” plywood so every surface is sturdy for mounting shelves, the cooking/equipment wall has been covered in stainless steel and non-equipment walls and ceiling covered in FRP to code. A double wall enclosure was constructed for the generator with foil-faced soundproofing in the interior. Generator is mounted on sliding rails so it can be accessed from the exterior for servicing. The full roof of this truck was raised approx. 14” by the dealer when it was originally purchased (documented in the original bill of sale). There are 4 significant benefits: Two (2) sets of 4’ Lights are mounted higher improving coverage and reducing glare There is an overhead 72”wide x 48”deep x 12” high storage area over the cab fully accessible from the main cooking area. The exterior serves as a Billboard/Marque (see pictures). It is currently wrapped, advertising the principle menu items. The additional height and light eliminate the feeling of claustrophobia common when working in a closed area. To accommodate the code requirement for a 46 gallon wastewater tank, a Custom Fabricated Aluminum 46 gallon tank was installed under the truck without protruding below the lower bodyline of the truck. The drain is easily accessible and holding brackets have been designed to facilitate easy removal should the tank ever require servicing. The original rear bumper was removed and a custom diamond plate bumper was fabricated with a protective enclosure for two (2) 60 lb. Propane Tanks mounted on the rear bumper with 3/4 ” black pipe feeds and two stage regulators. Each has it’s own control and can be used as either single tank or dual tank feed. There are two (2) additional (currently unused) stems/valves along the cooking wall for additional / future equipment. There is an exterior ventilating aluminum Access Door for the Generator. The generator is mounted on heavy duty sliding rails for easy access/removal. The cab is all aluminum, diamond plate floor, with storage cabinets built above the windows. New dual side mirrors and LED break and back-up lights have been installed. The driver’s seat was professionally upholstered in 2013 and the removable passenger seat is in excellent condition. A 42“ dual sliding Serving Window with a locking aluminum awning and pop-up 6’ exterior Aluminum Counter was installed. The Interior Aluminum Counter Serving Counter is 5' long. I purchased the truck in 2012 – it had been used in a window and blind cleaning business since 1988 and was serviced regularly as the paperwork will show. The truck was completely serviced e.g. hoses, breaks, all fluids, cooling system, belts replaced etc. following purchase and since that time routine maintenance /fluids with the exception of a new master cylinder in 2013 and sway bar bushings in 2014. Currently on the road with New York State Inspection valid until 9/2015. Starts immediately first time, every time and drives / handles easily. It has dual rear wheels and all 6 tires are in great shape with plenty of tread. Speedometer shows approx. 196,000 but I believe it to be slightly higher since I had the cable replaced in 2012. The body is all Aluminum but the white paint (approx. 5 years old) has minor flaking in a few spots. The body has RoadHog wrap as seen in the pictures. The interior floors are all aluminum and covered with black & white linoleum and rubber mats. After two years of use the linoleum, while functional, could benefit cosmetically from replacement.
