The Centra-GP8 series can develop a maximum relative centrifugal force of 4630 times gravity using the 822A rotor. The centrifuges will accommodate a range of centrifuge tubes and devices including 750 mL bottles, micro plates, cytological slide carriers, and micro sample tubes. Maximum sample load is 3 Liters. The Thermo IEC Centra-GP8 has an ergonomic touch pad control panel with bright , easily read LED displays. The unit can be operated in manual mode, hold or one of the 35 programmable operations. It’s a newest version/model of this proven commercial grade GP8R model. Unit comes from working environment at a hospital which closed its doors. The centrifuge is in very good cosmetic condition; there is a small crack in face plastic; the cover has scratch marks in paint. No defects were observed per our inspection. The unit was cleaned and refreshed so it’s ready to use. The machine has been tested to spin at various RPMs and it does so with no effort. It spins up and slows down the rotor very quickly. No vibrations or unusual noises have been noticed while testing. This is a very powerful centrifuge and provides lots of flexibility.
