For sale is a Men's "Thin Red Line" Fireman Chaplain trilobite wide weave *handmade custom sized paracord bracelet. The bracelet is made of 550 gauge black paracord woven tightly in a trilobite braid with a red line through the center. The bracelet adorns a two inch silver alloy cross which is neatly woven through the red line for Chaplain officers or for officers who are spiritual. A 5/8 inch black buckle completes this masculine and Godly bracelet. (A trilobite bracelet contains three times the amount of paracord than the average sized bracelet. Amount of Paracord Used; About our paracord and Uses in an emergency situation: Trilobite bracelets have three times the amount of paracord than regular sized paracord bracelets. A regular bracelet uses approximately one foot of cording for each inch. I will use an example of a man with a size 8 inch wrist. We must add one inch as will be explained below for the bracelet to fit properly. A regular sized (width) bracelet would have nine (9) feet of paracord you could unravel in an emergency situation. The paracord we use is Military grade and will NOT rot. It can hold up to 550 pounds of weight. Since trilobite bracelets are so wide and the way they are woven; using this same example, you will have 27 feet of military grade rope to use in an emergency situation! The paracord has an outer core (sheathing) that can hold 200 pounds and is braided with 32 strands! Inside are seven (7) strands which look like white thread. Each of these are twisted with 2 strands. One of these who strands can hold 50 pounds. Now, think of all the things you can do if stranded in the woods! You can find sticks and other nature’s materials and make a trap to catch an animal for food! Most men carry knifes. Walla, you've found a way to stave or starvation. If you run into a stream you can use the inner core strands and separate them and make a fishing line if you can find something shiny to attract a fish and something to make a hook. Some naturalists wear hats with hooks. Now you have another way to eat! You have a total of 15 strands to gather twigs, sticks, large branches for fire or shelter. I am sure if you are reading this you know the possibilities of what can be done with a bracelet like this in emergency situations! Measurement Guide (MUST READ) - PLEASE DO NOT USE EXISTING BRACELETS! Measure your wrist where you will be wearing your bracelet. Use either a cloth measuring tape or a string with no "give" and do so loosely. To do so loosely, place your fingertip under the tape or string. This step CANNOT be missed for Trilobite bracelets! PERIOD! Wrap either the string or the measuring tape around your wrist until it meets each other. Make a mark on either one. If it's the measuring tape, then write the number down on a piece of paper. If it's a string, lay it on the table and measure from the beginning to the mark you made. Write down the measurement from the string. NEXT, whether you used a cloth measuring tape or a string with no "give", you MUST add an inch. This is imperative and without this your bracelet WILL NOT fit! We would like to see your information (as an example as follows: wrist size: 6 1/2 inches + 1 inch = 7 1/2 size bracelet needed).
