Durakool Tip-Over Switch TO-3 The switch is normally positioned the way shown in the picture, it is normally closed, when tilted more than 5-10 degrees in any direction it will open the switch thereby opening the circuit. It is essentially a metal enclosed mercury tilt switch with high current contacts.
