Titan TM-10 High Magnification Measuring and Metallurgical Microscope Excellent condition, new stage glass & illumination bulb. Original owner, minimal use, very well maintained and protected in a glass-enclosed cabinet. The Titan TM-10 was designed to have all the features necessary for high magnification viewing. This includes rack and pinion focusing, 3 objective lenses revolving on a positive stop nose piece and depth measuring attachment with zeroing screw. The magnification capabilities with lenses provided are 50x, 100x, 200x, and 400x. And additional 40x lens can be purchased to increase magnification to 800x. Multiple variations of magnification can be achieved by combining variations of the included lenses. The precision Mitutoyo micrometers have ranges of 1 inch and 2 inch, inclusively, their minimum division accuracy is 0.0001 inches. The stage range envelope is 2 inches x 6 inches. The 6 inch X-range is achieved by utilizing gauge blocks together with the 2 inch micrometer range capability. Vertical focusing is achieved by using the included vertical coarse and fine adjustment screws. Optics stage has a vertical adjustment range of 6 inches and is secured by a safety ring on the lower end to protect the glass. An additional micrometer can be added to monitor/measure vertical adjustment. This is a high quality toolmakers microscope with incredible accuracy that can actually measure accurately to 50 millionths (.00005) of an inch.
