Topcon FD-21 flash device for use with a Topcon SL-D7 & D8Z slit lamps. This flash device converts the SL D7, D8Z, DC-3, and DV3 into a 'flash through the slit' digital photo slit lamp. The FD-21 enables the clinician to make superb photos of the posterior and anterior segments of the eye. Excellent clarity, color balance and depth of field enhance the examination. The clinician can choose to connect a Nikon digital still camera or several CCD cameras. This unit powers on and the flash settings all illuminate from 0-200. This is as far as I can test the unit. There are connections in the back for the slit lamp and for Topcon's Image Net software. The unit measures 16"L x 10"W x 4"H. These have been discontinued by Topcon so they will be difficult to find. I have three of these available. I also have the flash tube and connector that go with this unit under a separate auction.
