The TPA2012D2 EVM is Pb-free and all devices, including the printed-circuit board, are also lead-free. Its small size and highly efficient design make it an excellent choice for enhancing the audio performance of your small battery-operated devices. The TPA2012D2 EVM is an exceptional evaluation module that delivers outstanding audio quality in a compact and energy-efficient package. The TPA2012D2 Evaluation Module (EVM) is a compact and efficient stereo audio power amplifier that delivers up to 1.65 watts of low-voltage power. This evaluation module features the TI TPA2012D2 Class-D audio power amplifier IC in a NanoFreeв„ў wafer chip scale package (WCSP) that is completely lead-free. The TPA2012D2 EVM is an ideal choice for small battery-operated devices such as wireless or cellular handsets, as well as personal digital assistants (PDAs). Features of the TPA2012D2 EVM include independent shutdown control for each channel, a wide supply voltage range of 2.5 V to 5.5 V, internal depop and quick start-up circuitry, internal thermal and short-circuit protection. Additionally, the module gain is set at 5 V/V.
