DB The TRAC Star 2000 has a powerful 115 v, 18.8 Amp, 1-1/2 HP “washdown” motor. It produces a remarkable 4-1/2 ft. lbs of torque. The blade revolves at 1725 rpm and won’t slow down, even when cutting 30 mm granite in one pass. The saw operates on a v-groove track and is AUTOMATICALLY drawn down the track with a variable speed, front wheel drive motor. The new, faster drive motor allows the speed of the saw to be matched to the stone for more efficient and effective cutting and operates under a constant pressure as it pulls the power unit down the trac. This assures the blade of no abrupt jerks into the stone as it cuts and results in a perfect, straight cut with no saw marks on the vertical edge. A standard 8” blade will cut 2-1/4” stone, 7” blade will cut up to 1-3/4” and a 10” blade will cut 3-1/4”.
