You are bidding on a shipping / travel case that was intended to hold a commercial convention / conference / trade show sales booth display - I believe from Thompson Kerr - but would also be wonderful for paintings, artwork, framed items, etc. It measures 25 x 48 inches and is 5 inches deep. It's made of heavy PVC type vinyl with a galvanized metal edge trim for added stability. It has heavy straps to secure it closed, a cardboard insert and 2 foam rubber padded sheets to hold your items in place while shipping, whether by FedEx, airplane, freight, your vehicle etc. Has rivets for additional strength. It features a carrying handle that makes it convenient for you to carry like a suitcase. This item will ship to you as seen (as boxing it would simply add to the shipping cost). I pack well and insure all fragile items to allow for the postal service. I also mark FRAGILE – GLASS on every side of the box to warn the Post Office to handle with care. In some cases, shipping may be estimated, and I always refund excess over $1 to your PayPal account within 48 hours of shipping. I realize that an accident can happen, so if you should receive an item that has been damaged in transit (it’s very rare for my shipments), you need to do two things: 1) notify me and 2) take item along with original packing to the post office to file your insurance claim with them.
