This is a really beautiful office chair, upholstered in wonderful red leather, tufting on the back rest of the chair.  It's nice and solid, very comfortable, with brass nail head trim throughout.  I don't know the true vintage on this piece.  The labels indicate that it was made in Hickory, North Carolina, by Executive Leather Inc.  The lines look classic and elegant, and the chair pivots on the old steel castors, not plastic wheels/castors like newer, cheaper chairs.  There is minor wear on the wood arms, mostly on the corners.  There are really no significant  defects or flaws that I can find aside from occasional red spots on the leather, but these are faint and minor.  When photographing, I didn't see any mechanism for altering the height of the chair, it may be that rotating the chair makes it go up or down.  If anyone wants to know, I can follow up on that.
