Transelect Terminal & Pin pad This is a set of devices used to make remote credit or debit card transactions. The telephone interface unit (model number V2000) was made by International Verifact, Inc. of Canada; this item does not exceed class A radio noise requirements for both the Canadian Department of Communications and the FCC. On the front of the unit are a digital display, a magnetic card stripe reader slot, a numeric keypad with ENTER, CANCEL/EXIT, REFUND, PURCHASE, and down arrow buttons, as well as buttons labeled A (and down arrow), B (and SCROLL), C (and up arrow), DELETE, RETRY, ADMIN (and T LANG), CHQ AUTH, REF CORR/VOID (and PP LANG), PRE-AUTH, PUR CORR/VOID, and ADVICE. On the top of this unit are a power slot which corresponds to the power supply, an eight-pin non-standard round female connector labeled "RS-232," a seven-pin non-standard round female connector labelled "PRINTER," two telephone line sized female RJ-style connector labeled "LAN" and "TEL LINE," a female RJ-style connector corresponding to the PIN pad cord, and a larger-than-normal female RJ-style connector labeled "LEASED LINE." The "AC adaptor" for the telephone interface is part no: SF-0065-ADT. The PIN pad is made by International Verifact, Inc., and does not cause radio interference. On the front of the unit is a LCD display, and a standard numeric keypad with additional buttons labeled CHQ, SAV EP, CANCEL ANNUL, CORR, and OK. On the back of the unit is a coiled connecting cord which extends to about ten feet (~3m). The plastic stand supports the telephone interface and PIN units. The various units were connected and plugged in appropriately. The digital displays on the telephone interface unit and PIN pad read out with various start up messages, then displayed messages indicated that they were ready for transactions.. A mock transaction was conducted using an interac-style card, and everything functioned properly. The modem could not be tested, since a telephone line was not available. Unit will probably have to be reprogrammed in order to connect with your own service supplier. Auction Sales Policy We are a consignment seller and all items on auction are consignment items.
