40 Grams (powdered) Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) (Dehydrated) Lightning Fast FREE Shipping! (1-2 business days).     HIGHEST QUALITY LABORATORY GRADE TSA AVAILABLE Tryptic Soy Agar is a bacterial Growth Media.  TSA is a general purpose medium, providing enough nutrients to allow a wide variety of microorganisms to grow.  It is used for a wide range of applications including: culture storage, enumeration (counting), isolation of pure cultures or simply general culture.  The medium contains enzymatic digests of casein and soybean meal which provides amino acids and other nitrogenous substances making it a nutritious medium for a variety of organisms. 40 grams of the dehydrated media contains: 15g Tryptone, 5g Soytone, 5g Sodium Chloride, & 15g agar.   40 grams will yield approximately 1 Liter of TSA Solution which will yield 35-40, 100mm Petri Dishes at 20ml-30ml per dish.         SOLUTION INSTRUCTIONS: Step 1: Dissolve 40g of TSA in 1 Liter of Distilled Water Step 2: Bring to a Boil & Stir Step 3: Autoclave at 121 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes Step 4: Pour into Petri Dishes      Got a Question?
