Turptech Tools of Denmark are world leaders in dust free mortar raking equipment. Their Guide Plate Plus is the new improved version of the standard mortar rake guide plate. It incorporates an elongated channel that follows the raked out mortar line which significantly improves dust collection. The addition of a flexi hose to the outlet also helps the connection to any suitable vacuum cleaner / dust extractor. As with the standard guide plate you can set the depth that the joints are raked out to. Rule of thumb here is to go in 1.5 times the width of the joint (so a standard 3/8 inch joint you would set the depth to 9/16 inch). The Guide Plate Plus also comes with 5 adaptor rings which will allow the fitting to all of the "big brand" and the majority of other 4 1/2 & 5 inch mini grinders available. This starter kit comes complete with the Turptech Guide Plate Plus, 2 x Turpech Professional 3 Cutter Mortar Rakes (1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2 & 9/16 inch available) and a maximum working length of 1 inch.
