2353UD6B.05 New Ulanet High Temperature Adjustable 650 Degree Thermostats, 1500 Watts, Bi-Metal Operation, NO (Normally Open) & NC (Normally Closed), Part Number SR-SK-173. Each bid quantity is for One (1) Thermostat. You may bid / buy any number, up to the total quantity available above. These were purchased at an industrial liquidation earlier this year, and they were brand new in an unmarked box. Best I can interpret the manufacturer's specs, this model (SR-SK-173) has an adjustment screw that can be adjusted from about 240F to 650F. Depending on which terminals you attach the wires, they will either "make" (close the circuit) or "break" (open the circuit) as the temperature rises to your set temperature. Seems to be a very versatile thermostat. According to the manufacturer: SR-SK-119 | SR-SK-173 The bimetal element is insulated from the current carrying parts. There is rapid heat transfer to the bimetal when the thermostat is mounted on a heated surface whose temperature is to be controlled. This makes it ideal for flat-irons and other electrical appliances. Mounting is with an 8-32 screw through the rivet hole. In the normally closed configuration, the adjustment shaft is turned clockwise to increase the temperature. Available in three temperature ranges up to 240°, 500° and 650°F maximum.
