Ultraviolet Sterilization Cabinet Eye-ware Germicidal Cabinet Kerkau Model H-75 Reliable and effective infection control is a vital health concern in school, private and public laboratories, as well as other workplaces where protective eyewear and headsets are shared. Kerkau has been helping to stem the spread of microorganisms, bacteria, viruses and mold spores for decades. With its 22-gauge white steel exterior,the H-75 cabinet is heavy duty and durable. A 15-minute timer for controlled sterilization has been mounted on one of the doors, which themselves feature safety door switches and key locks, to ensure the doors stay closed during operation. The entire unit is powered by a 100v heavy duty, grounded, 8-foot neoprene power cord. The interior racks are capable of holding 40 pairs of safety goggles or spectacles. The H-75 features an ultraviolet lamp that has been mounted horizontally inside the top of the sterilization cabinet, which ensures that there is no messy dripping or drying. Independent testing has concluded that the ultraviolet sanitation process used in Kerkau's H-75 sterilization cabinet is lethal to virtually 100% of all microorganisms. It measures 32x24.5x9.25 inches (HxWxD), and features a reflective surface on the interior to help ensure that all areas of the safety goggles and spectacles are given treatment by the ultraviolet light. This model is white painted steel, and is also available in unpainted stainless steel. It is also available with option wiring for European electrical standards. This cabinet was removed as a working unit from a school that was closed. The light works great. There are some cosmetic blemishes. The timer works great as well as all switches.
