The Good This is the Unibind XU238 Binding System.  It lists for $745.00 new.  This thermal binding system has the ability to bind up to 16 documents in just over a minute!  WOW!  This machine takes out all the labor involved with traditional manual comb or wire binding machines.  Simply place your documents in your desired cover, place covers on the heating element, and boom! Finished!  The secret in the Unibind process is a a result of a patented nylon-based resin that quickly adapts to the sheets of paper.  Another advantage is that Unibind can handle ANY type of paper you put in it! The Bad So on to the bad (if you consider it in that way).  The machine has only one set of functioning lights.  Normally, a red light will come on when the document(s) are placed on the heating element.  Then when the binding process is finished, the light turns green.  The XU238 has two elements, however in this case only 1 set of lights works here.  On the bright side (no pun intended), the other heating element heats up and functions properly, you will just need a stopwatch or utilize the other lights to correctly time your bind.  Another way to think of this machine is that it is the exact same as it's little brother, the Unibind XU138 (single heating element). The Ugly The ugly here is that this is a final deal folks.  There is no warranty available and Unibind will not be able to provide you with an extended warranty, so all sales final.  I've used this machine myself and verify that everything in this description is accurate.
