Equipment Details: The new VeriCount is the latest evolution in small volume electronic tablet and capsule counting / checking combining proven technology as in all of our full size counters with a microprocessor based control system that is reliable even with small (1.5 mm) and transparent products. The VeriCount features a vibratory product feeder bowl to transport tablets to the infrared counting system. The bowl requires only one change part and then only in cases where there is an extreme range of product sizes. The bowl is designed to feed the product right up to the last one as quickly as possible. The counting system utilizes the latest counting sensors with ‘onboard’ microprocessor for highest level of reliability and accuracy. 34,000 scans per second “see” and “scan” each product ensuring small bits are ignored and product falling as a double are counted as such. Settings are saved in memory, and new products are “Learned” as the first few products are counted. The electronic counting system is designed to count and refill tablets into bottles from which they came with reliability and high accuracy at speeds up to 1,200 tablets per minute, subject to product characteristics. Count Accuracy: The VeriCount counter can boast the highest count accuracy precision due to the sensitivity of its count eyes, the number of infrared sensors per count eye, and the number of scans per second. Each product passing in front of the count eye is scanned and the number of milliseconds that it is in front of the registered (dark-time). The dark-time is precisely verified before a count is registered. Too long, or too short can signify a product chip, or two pieces passing as one. A signal can be used to identify the container or reject it automatically (reject system not included). The sensitivity and programmable scan patterns also enable the count eyes to accurately count shaped product, translucent capsules and tiny tablets without being effected by dust.
