You are bidding on a used Vertex Standard desktop repeater Model # "VXR-9000VC"; serial # 5D120019. This is VHF (150-174 MHz split) only, 32-channels and 50-watts output power. The repeater is in Excellent condition and was just pulled from service working (receives & transmits). It was installed in a radio equipment shelter building, at a tower communications site. As you can see the repeater is very, very clean - no damage or rust, etc. We are selling this because we have upgraded our radio fleet to DMR digital radios (i.e. TRBO). All buttons including the programmable function (PF) buttons work, power button, and volume knob. The LCD display & LED lights for transmit & receive work. FEATURES: Software Programmable via CE-60 software, including PL & DPL tones. We have confirmed that radio takes & accepts RSS programming as it has been re-programmed to default frequencies. VHF (150-174 MHz) only. 50-watts output power (high). Capability of 25-watts (medium) and 10-watts (low). 32-channel capacity. NOTE: It can only repeater one channel at a time, so it has to stay locked on one particular channel. PL and DPL tone capable. Programmable repeater tail time, time-out timer (TOT), and multi tone (community tone programmable). CW Morse Code ID Identification. Six (6) dual-programmable function (PF) keys. EIA 19" Rack Mountable. 12.5/20/25 KHz Emissions capable. This is a new technology radio; meaning it does wideband as well as narrowband. It already complies with the FCC mandated 1/01/2013 narrowbanding deadline. Size (repeater): 19.00" wide x 3.50" tall x 14.00" depth. Weight: 22 pounds. Antenna ports (in back of repeater): Receive is BNC female -and- Transmit is N female {see pictures # 4 & 5}. 25-pin accessory jack (in back of repeater). 100% Continuous Duty Cycle w/ built-in cooling fan. Power Requirements: Primary is 13.8vDC via power cord. Power Supply backup with alert: If primary DC power fails (i.e power outage), the VXR-9000 will automatically revert to a backup DC power source, if connected. Under backup DC power, the repeater will transmit an alert message to notify the operator that immediate attention is required at the repeater site.
