Vintage Victorian Dress Form With original box The adjustable height dress form on a rolling cast iron base with casters. Dress form is still in the item the person was making preserving the original cloth all these years. This is a very desirable size and style. The pole has been replaced. This comes with the original box, still with the postage and stickers on it.  The one flap on the top of the box has fallen off, but is still included.  The maker on the original paper tag is "Hall Borchert Dress Form Co. 101 Park Ave. New York & 1230 Cedar Ave. Scranton, Pa.   The dress form is in good condition. It shows it's age, but it looks great. There are no repairs or replacements. There is the pattern paper and material covering the Jersey material which the person was working on went it was packed away. I left this intact,  since it has been there for ages, and only preserving the original material. (See Photos) ... The cast iron stand has its 4 original wooden wheeled casters. Still retains its original cast steel locking screw. There is a chip on the screw clamp, but does not affect it in any way.  Form spins  and rolls freely.   Has not been cleaned. You are bidding on the dress form, stand, and original box. Your item will be packaged and shipped with care and insurance. To preserve the box as is, your item will be reboxed so that the original box is not marked with any tape or postage.

Seller Notes “Center pole has been replaced. Form is still covered in material and pattern paper. One of the box top flaps has fallen off but is included. Item will show signs of age.”
