Vintage 1930s Sheaffer's White Dot Black Ended Fountain Pen with Abalone Chips Description Don’t be disappointed with your purchase…PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU BID. Up for your consideration is this Sheaffer's White Dot Black Ended Fountain Pern with Abalone Chips 1930's This particular pen is black with a marbled abalone shell flakes look to main part of barrel. The top and bottom have a space approximately an inch in length where there is no decorative flakes. This area is solid black out to the tips. There is a single gold band around bottom of lid and gold pocket clip. The pen is appox. 4 and 3/4" in length with cap on. The pocket clip reads Sheaffer's vertically on the spine. The marking on the pen barrel reads W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO. FORT MADISON, IOWA U.S.A. PAT. D-78, 795 (or S). The nib reads SHEAFFER'S LIFETIME REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. MADE IN U.S.A. The nib and comb feeder both appear clean. Beautiful pen.
