Thank you for viewing our item. We have up for sale a Vintage 1943 David White Co. Surveying Level Transit This solid brass transit is factory painted army green made at the height of WWII. Transit comes in wood case with matching green plumb bob and adjustment tools in leather pouch also a replacement David White survey rod tape. Marked; David White Co. Milwaukee WIS. Patented ***Special note; On 2/9/1943, serial numbers 12806 through 24999 were omitted by the David White Co. Condition is very good, shows some scratches in the varnish on the brass (please see pictures) Items we sell are old and may have scratches, discoloration, chips, rust and overall wear and tear Please see all the pictures, they show the true condition of these items.
