This is a1946 Heinz display soup warmer. It would have set on the backbar in a diner or department store lunch counter. It looks like original paint, hammered copper color. The paint is worn in places. The timers work, one runs slow and they need power to ring. The cord is "distressed," and would probably need replaced. This display does not get hot. Unopened cans of soup sat on the different levels of the display. The wording on the opener reads: SWING-A-WAY..G-10..1946..Model 407....Steel Products Mfg...St Louis, MO ...pats applied for. There was a pot (2) that plugged into the front next to a timer. The pots heated the soup. (No pots.) I have cleaned the "barn fresh" off but it could use more.
