We recently purchased the contents of an old salvage yard and service station that closed down years ago. Check out our other auctions and "The Old Car Parts Store" for similar items that have been in storage for the past 30+ years. Here is a VINTAGE ALUMINUM HARD HAT FROM BF McDONALD Co.  I am not sure of the specific application but I believe these were used by loggers and coal miners in the 1950's & 60's.  This helmet is in good original condition.  There are a few mild dings around the top portion of the helmet but these are mild and nothing that stands out.  The finish could be buffed out to a brighter color but we chose to leave it as is because of the nice patina that has developed over the years.  The original webbing is still in tact on the inside and in good condition.  Overall, a nice vintage helmet that displays well.  Professional packaging guaranteed (see our feedback).  Please email us with your questions.  Bid with confidence and good luck.
