Vintage and Rare Leitz Panphot Aristophot Microscope Macro Photo System Parts! Item Information: This auction is for used sections from a Leitz Panphot Microscope! The Panphot Photo Microscope System was the predecessor to the highly sought after Aristophot. The Phanphot dates back to the late 1930's up to the 1950's. These parts are very difficult to find and consist of the main focusing/attachment rail, reflex finder, Graflok Back, and bellows with shutter. We are selling these parts AS-IS for restoration as it is an incomplete system and will need some TLC : ) Item Condition: We are not experts on microscope equipment, but will highlight some of the parts condition that we can see. Please look over the photographs for the best description of the microscope parts and its condition. -The black painted hammer tone finish is very nice. -There are some small areas of oxidation on some of the metal sections, but the parts are generally rust free. -The bellows has pinholes on many of the pleat's corners, and some larger holes. -The Graflok Back is in great condition and comes with ground glass and Fresnel installed. -There are some marks and wear to the Graflok Back's paint finish. -The Shutter is working well at all speeds included Bulb and Time, but has not been professionally tested. -The rail will need cleaning and fresh lubrication as the sections are difficult to mount and slide. -The reflex finder is very nice with intact mirror. -The mirror could use a light cleaning for dust/dirt. -Some of the felt lining is loose inside the mirror housing. The rail will be taken apart to facilitate shipping.
