Vintage Antique 1800s/1900s Vermont Farm Ox / Horse Drawn Log Timber Skidder Vintage Antique 1800s/1900s Vermont Farm Ox / Horse Drawn Log Timber Skidder Great museum piece or fine addition to a private collection of antique farm equipment.  This log skidder was built in the late 1800s or early 1900s and is shown in the last listing photo with the original builder and owner back in the early 1900s.  This skidder has been on the same Vermont farm and in the same family for at least five generations. Wheels are about 53" in diameter and it is 65.5" from outside wheel rim to outside reel rim.  Overall it is about 16.6' long.  It was used extensively and has wear and tear commensurate with that.  Some of the wood is deteriorating and needs restoration.  Missing a spoke on one wheel and part of the wood rim on the other.  All in all, a great item from post-Colonial New England. Available for local pick-up in the Jamaica, VT region.  Pick-up might require coordination that will take time to arrange, so please anticipate that in your planning.
