Vintage Bates 640 Stapler This very nice Bates stapler was made by the Bates Manufacturing Company in Hackettstown, NJ USA. The stapler is brown in color with a wood grained top. The bottom has rubber pad on front and back. It is used but is in excellent condition. I would look nice on any desk. A major part of my description is in the many pictures that I take of each item. Descriptions are subjective. Expect each item to have some wear or use consistent with being previously owned. Payment I require that all payments are made within 3 days of the auctions end date. Shipping I will always ship out your items within one to two business days of receiving your cleared payment, with the exception of weekends and holidays. I package securely and use recycled boxes and fillers whenever possible. Insurance is not required however it is highly recommended, as I cannot be responsible for items once they are shipped. On some items I require insurance, in which case I will include it in the shipping cost and advise you in the description. I do not charge a handling fee, but will charge the 80 cent delivery confirmation fee. I will usually ship internationally if feasible, please contact us for a shipping quote prior to bidding 5 Star Ratings and Returns I will except returned item if the received item is not the correct item, if the description is not correct or misleading or if item was sold as a working item, does not work when received. I am very easy to work with and refunds are not a problem. I do not except returns for items sold “as is” or, “non-working” or for buyer’s remorse. Refunds are for the original winning bid minus shipping charge. Refunds are processed once I receive the returned item in question in its original condition.
