This is a vintage pneumatic hammer made by Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co in Detroit, Mich. It's called "The Boyer Hammer" NO. U. It could be used as a riveting hammer, chipping hammer, or planishing hammer depending on the bit used. The bit included would be for planishing metal or riveting. The tool has an air valve adjustment made of brass. The bit is marked with a graphic of an airplane and AT-107-1. The tool has a serial number of H227187. The tool is in working condition. There might be part of a collar broken as shown in the last photo? This doesn't seem to affect the workability as I hooked it to air and it seems to work well. Ebay’s shipping calculators are not always accurate as well as we have seen where Ebay has greatly inflated the shipping in the listing for the weight we enter. We do feel, however, that quality packaging is more important than saving a few pennies. Thus, because of the cost of quality packaging, we reserve the right to add $1.00 to the shipping amount to cover the cost of tape, boxes, packing materials, and labels.
