Up For Auction is a Vintage Columbian Bench Vise No. D43-1/2 Made in Cleveland, OH U.S.A. This vise has 3-1/2" Wide jaws x 4-1/2" capacity. Features include a 2-1/2" square anvil with a horn and a small hardy, a swivel base and small lower jaws for pipe or round stock. This used vise is in good condition and is fully functional. Much of the original red paint remains and there is no significant rust. The main jaws have some wear and typical file/hammer/chisel marks, etc. but are not excessively worn and they fit tightly together. The sliding channel has some hammer/chisel marks on the one edge that does not affect the smooth adjustment. The swivel base is clean, undamaged and works well. The quick adjust swivel handle is missing and has been replaced with a hex nut that works fine for infrequent adjustments. Most of the items I sell are from estate sales, auctions, flea markets, etc. I clean them as necessary to properly evaluate all aspects of the condition and functionality. My photos will always be the actual item for sale and I try to describe and show the condition as thoroughly as possible. The $13.45 shipping amount will be the same for all U.S. customers. Combined Shipping… For auction items only, I will do my best to combine shipping if you purchase two or more items within a three day period that can be safely shipped in the same package. You will typically have to pay at least the higher of the listed shipping costs and I will be able to discount the shipping on the other items(s). If you are trying for multiple items, wait for my combined invoice before you pay – I cannot hold items that are already paid.
