The Geotec transit comes with it's original box. It has excellent optics and crosshairs, all knobs turn freely, the levels work fine and zoom is great. I use it to watch wildlife. birds, turkeys and a bear that returns every year to my yard. This is a nice surveyor's 12 inch DUMPYLEVEL No. 8531.
