This auction is for a vintage Goodell Pratt lathe number 125. The overall condition of the lathe is very good. It is about 27" long. It looks to have about a 10" stock area. It has a slide rest #132 machine tool. There is also a 3" chuck. The chuck works great, but it has wear from being used. See the last photo for details. The opposite side of the chuck (I think it is called the stock pin), does not turn. I am not sure if it is suppose to turn or not. The motor is 1/4 hp made by GE. The paint looks to be a recoat, but I am not certain.  There are a few chips in the paint.  I will take the lathe off of the board it currently sits on to ship. The board will not be shipped with it. When I take it apart the switch will be disconnected from the motor. The switch and plug should be replaced, but they do work. They are very old. Please look at all pictures and ask any questions before bidding. I would prefer free local pick up, but I will ship. Shipping will be $80, since it is heavy.  I will only ship to the Continental United States. Thanks for looking!
