Exact item from an estate shown, Heathkit TS-3 alignment generator. 6 tubes: 12AT7 12AT7 12AU7 6AQ5 6AU6 6X5 0A2. I powered it up, all tubes light, let it run for an hour, nothing overheats, I measured an AC voltage on the output that varies with the attenuator - I did not connect my scope to it to look at the waveform. output cable included as shown in the photos, original power cord, original knobs, I believe this is 100% original though not in pristine condition, it is a bit dirty and there are some scratches, the case needs to be washed a few more times, I washed the worst of the dust off, but it needs more work with soap and I think the streaks you see will disappear. Note that the oscillator control binds at the 2:00 position, I did not want to force it, the shaft is phenolic. From a heathkit catalog: TS-3 TV Sweep Generator. Provides fundamentals from 4 MHz to 220 MHz with output well over 100,000 microvolts. Automatic blanking and wide-range phasing. Triple marker ranges from 19 MHz to 180 MHz using a Colpitts oscillator plus the 4.5 MHz crystal-controlled oscillator for check points. Provisions for external marker. Sweep system uses the Increductor controllable inductor. Sweep width variable from 0 to 12 MHz at the lower RF frequencies, increasing to 0 to 50 MHz at the highest frequencies.
